Cancer Support Community Valley/Ventura/Santa Barbara proudly announces their 5th Annual "Dear Cancer, It's Me." high school written essay contest. All students attending schools from the West San Fernando Valley to Santa Maria who have experienced cancer themselves, or who have a loved one or friend with cancer, are asked to submit written essays of 500-2000 words before midnight Friday, March 17, 2017.
First place winners in both contest categories will each receive $1500.
Second place winners will each receive $1000. Third place winners will each
receive $500.
