Want to Volunteer at the Library?

We are looking for responsible teens ages 13+ to volunteer at the Library.

  • For NEW Teen Volunteers - Please fill out the Online Application Form– once this is finalized you can apply for Library volunteer opportunities.

  • For CURRENT Teen Volunteers - You can apply for Current Volunteer Opportunities through your CERVIS account. Check website regularly for new volunteer opportunities.


Some opportunities throughout the year include:

    • Homework Help – Help tutor after school students K-8.

    • Reading or Writing Buddies – Be a buddy to help elementary students with reading or writing.

    • TOTAL – Thousand Oaks Teen Advisory League (TOTAL) works to advise the Library through our Think Tank, Book and Program Leadership groups. 

    • Summer Reading Club (SRC) – During the summer help kids with crafts or help families sign up for Summer Reading Club.

    • Library events and Programs – Check the Current Available Volunteer Opportunities for the latest availabilities.
