FTOL provides financial support for enhancements to library collections, sponsors special educational and cultural programs, and provides volunteer assistance where needed.
Established in 1983, the Thousand Oaks Library Foundation is a non-profit organization which supports special library projects in the Thousand Oaks Library.
Each month approximately 250 volunteers contribute their time and energy to various activities within the library.
