This event is organized by Jack Nosco in honor of his brother, Mike Nosco, who was killed in a tragic car accident on November 3, 2004.

 Mike started serving the community at a young age, starting as a Boy Scout reaching the rank of Eagle Scout for Troop 730 in Newbury Park. At the time of his passing, Mike had served in the Navy for 20 years; he was part of a very special elite unit, HCS-5 (helicopter combat support).

In Mike's memory, Jack decided he wanted to give back like Mike would have and in 2009 started the 1st Annual Mike Nosco Memorial Bicycle Ride.  Proceeds from the event are used to provide financial relief to families and individuals in need in our local community.
