Come visit the Fred Kavli Theatre to experience the exhibit,"SHE", which features the artwork of five uniquely different artists: Arezoo Bayat, Susanne Belcher, Mariana Peirano, Galina Richardson and Joyce Rumack.

The show focuses on the reflection of women across age, culture and style. Often referred to as “the fairer sex”, women have long-endured the constraints of societies which celebrate them for physical attributes over more qualitative characteristics. “SHE” is a glimpse into the reflection of womanhood; a recognition of the inequality, adversity, and even oppression suffered across cultures and generations. It is also an exploration of women and the strength which they embody, and a celebration of women: their thoughts, experiences, power, strength, and, yes, beauty.

The Cultural Affairs Department will host open gallery hours, free of charge, between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 and Tuesday, July 31, 2018.
