The Thousand Oaks Library’s Book Club in a Box program quickly gets great children’s books into the hands of your book group members.

Book Club in a Box kits contain ten copies of a single title, discussion questions (when available), an author biography, and a group member sign-up sheet to help keep track of books.

Kits are located in the Children’s Library near the Music CD’s section.

Book Club titles cannot be placed on hold using the Library catalog. Please use Ask-a-Librarian to request a hold or contact the reference desk at (805) 449-2660, option 4.

Borrowing Policy

• Borrower must have a Thousand Oaks Library card.
• The kit will be checked out on the library card of the person picking up the kit. That patron is responsible for the kit and all of its contents.
• The loan period is eight weeks and cannot be renewed.

• Holds cannot be placed online through the catalog for Book Club in a Box. Please use Ask-a-Librarian to request a hold or contact the reference desk at (805) 449-2660, option 4.
