Extreme Quilters

"Art from Cloth", an exhibition and boutique of fiber art by 25 Ventura County art quilters, will be on display October 3-15, 2019.  The opening reception is Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 3pm to 5pm.  The show is open daily from 10am to 5pm.  Admission is free.

 

The show, now in its tenth year, is presented annually by the Extreme Quilters, a group of women who share a passion for contemporary textile art.  They meet monthly to show their work and exchange ideas and techniques.  Past exhibitions have featured textile works that incorporated photography, beading, rusting, glass fusing and sculptural techniques.  A boutique of handcrafted works by members is an integral part of the show.
