The chiefs invite you to share concerns about your community over a free cup of coffee.  For approximately five years these casual discussions between community members and the chiefs have led to numerous resolutions of community issues that would otherwise not have surfaced.

Thousand Oaks Police Department and Ventura County Fire Department view open lines of communication as an integral part of developing proactive partnerships with the community and working together on identifying, prioritizing, and solving problems.  This is also an opportunity to talk about personal safety, crime, and quality-of-life issues.
