For the month of April, anybody who signs up for a new library card at the Thousand Oaks Library will receive a prize or Opportunity Drawing Ticket. The Opportunity Drawing Ticket is good for one of five prize drawings: a $100 Amazon gift card, a $50 Target gift card, a $50 Trader Joe’s gift card, a $50 Dick's Sporting Goods gift card, or a $50 Best Buy’s gift card. Children and teens can get prizes from our prize box while supplies last. Grand prize drawings will be held on May 6th.

National Library Week allows us to promote our library. Libraries are welcoming spaces that bring communities together for entertainment, education, and connection through book clubs, storytimes, movie nights, crafting classes, lectures, and more. Library infrastructure advances communities, providing internet and technology access, literacy skills, and support for businesses, job seekers, and entrepreneurs.
