The Thousand Oaks Library cordially invites the public to attend a free, family-friendly, and fun-filled day to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Grant R. Brimhall Library. To mark this significant milestone, the library has planned an 80’s themed celebration.
40th Anniversary card and children's card (17 & under)
Patrons can convert their current library cards to a new design free of charge. While supplies last.
On Saturday, September 24, 11:00 am – 4:00 p.m., the community is invited to enjoy:

Complimentary refreshments from The Habit & Kona Ice (food tickets are provided at the event. While supplies last)

Kids activities (temporary tattoos, balloon animals, photo booths, and more)

Interactive booths highlighting community programs and services. Visit all booths for a chance to be entered into an opportunity drawing to win a Kindle. There will be four winners for adults and four winners for kids and teens.

An oral history opportunity to record your memories of the library. In partnership with the Stagecoach Inn.
*On Saturday, September 24, 2022, Newbury Park Library will be closed,
and Grant R. Brimhall Library will open at 11:00 a.m.
