Voice of the Oaks (VOTO) is a Thousand Oaks Library podcast that alternates between three librarians chatting about books, libraries, and everything in between, and interviews with members of the Thousand Oaks community. Our theme music, "Voice of the Oaks" was created by Ben Salin. The Voice of the Oaks podcast can be listened to anywhere podcasts are found.

The VOTO team interviewed KCLU General Manager Mary Olson. Mary has been with KCLU since 1994 and has hosted and moderated Thousand Oaks Library's One City One Book events since 2021. In this episode, Mary talks to the team about her love for libraries, public radio, and the joys and challenges of working in broadcasting.
