If you need help placing hold on items, please contact us by phone at 805-449-2660, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m .to 5 p.m. You may also text your question to 805-253-2906 or contact us through Ask a Librarian https://asktolnow.tolibrary.org
You will be notified when the item(s) are ready for Curbside Pickup.
Curbside Pickup is available during the following hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday - 10 am to 4 pm
Saturday - 10 am to 1 pm
Curbside Pickup is not available on Wednesday or Sunday.
Items will only be available for pickup at the Grant R. Brimhall Library on 1401 Janss Road.
Please follow the Curbside Services signs to proceed to the Greeter Station (see map above). Have your library card barcode side up or California Driver License picture side up on the right side of your dashboard so staff can verify the hold request.
Yes. We’ve temporarily changed our policy so DVDs and BluRay discs can be requested. The Thousand Oaks Library Foundation has generously decided to waive DVD rental fees during the Curbside checkout period.
The Grant R. Brimhall Library’s drive-up book drop is open and can accept materials from both Grant R. Brimhall Library and Newbury Park Library.
Newbury Park Library and its book drops remain closed until further notice. Library staff are unable to accept any returns in person.
Library Service FAQ
At this time, the Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library is unable to accept book donations. Please do not drop off any items. The Library will advise the community as soon as possible when it will be able to accept donations.
