Everything you need for a storytime now available in a single box.

The Thousand Oaks Library’s Storytime in a Box quickly gets fun books into the hands of your family. Each storytime kit contains five similarly themed books, a list of songs and fingerplays you can try at home, and an additional source of family fun.

Kits are located near the Children's Library Folk Tale section.

Storytime in a Box titles cannot be placed on hold using the Library catalog. Download a printer-friendly copy of our Storytime in a Box Information Sheet.

Borrowing Policy

• Borrower must have a Thousand Oaks Library card.
• The kit will be checked out on the library card of the person picking up the kit. That patron is responsible for the kit and all of its contents.
• The loan period is eight weeks and cannot be renewed.
• Holds cannot be placed online for Storytime in a Box.
