On October 19th at 10:19 a.m., the California Great Shakeout will take place. This is a good time for you and your family to think about how prepared you are for an earthquake, as well as other types of emergency incidents.
This is also a perfect time for you to review your Department evacuation plans. Remember that during an earthquake, you need to duck, cover and hold. A request to evacuate may then occur. Never run and always know where the exits are located.
