Kalinka’s music is a high energy blend of Jewish klezmer, traditional jazz, gypsy swing, Roma music, and Middle Eastern melodies. Formed nine years ago, this Santa Barbara-based group has played at the Skirball Cultural Center, the Live Oak Music Festival, Topanga Canyon Banjo & Fiddle Festival, and many other Coastal California venues. Led by clarinetist, Fred Nadis with Eric Ederer on acoustic guitar/oud, Besnik Yzeiri and Daniel Moltke on violin, and Andrew Fedders on bass. Enjoy the concert on June 9^th from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. in the Thousand Oaks Library Community Room.
