The City of Thousand Oaks, in collaboration with Ventura County Community Development Corporation (VCCDC), is reselling 2 townhomes at an affordable sales price to low-income households. The two Park Lane Townhomes are located at the corner of Newbury Road and North Ventu Park Road and consist of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, approximately 1,000 sq. ft. of living space, and an attached garage. The homes will be sold to qualified homebuyers whose income does not exceed 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). The townhomes will be priced below comparable new homes and will be subject to a 45-year resale restriction.
All homebuyers interested in applying for the affordable units are invited to attend a mandatory orientation to learn about the eligibility requirements, the application and selection process, and the 45-year restriction that will be placed on the occupancy of the home and resale. Orientations will be held in both English and Spanish. Applications will be available at the end of each of the orientations listed below:
Date: Tuesday, January 10th or Wednesday, January 11th
Time: 6:00pm (check-in at 5:45pm)
Location: Newbury Park Branch Library
2331 Borchard Rd, Newbury Park, CA 91320
VCCDC will be assisting all interested homebuyers through the Affordable Housing Units Eligibility & Qualification Process. Financing information will also be provided at the orientation. Attending the orientation does not guarantee a home. Participants are only required to attend one of the two workshops. Seating is on a first come first serve basis and subject to room capacity. For more information about the townhomes, you must attend the orientation. For information about the application process contact VCCDC at 805-273-7800 or on their website www.vccdc.org
