Data Loss Prevention protects the end users from sending sensitive or private information outside the City network. Sensitive data includes, but is not limited to, Social Security Numbers, Driver's License Numbers, Credit Card information, and banking account information. IT has put safeguards in place to prevent this information from being sent via email and this overview will discuss the safeguards implemented.
