In 1974, Rick Roberts formed the well-known band Firefall, with whom he wrote and recorded the hit songs “Just Remember I Love You,” “You Are The Woman,” and “Strange Way.” He also spent time as a member of The Flying Burrito Brothers, Stephen Stills’ band, and Linda Ronstadt’s band during his career, earning two platinum and four gold albums.  He will discuss his two books: Lame Brain recalls his recovery from a traumatic brain injury and Song Stories and Other Left-Handed Recollections recounts his music career.

Adults and teens (16+) are invited to the Library to use the art of bookfolding to create an abstract design. Reuse discarded books and construct new art that can be shared with friends and family. You may bring your own
disposable paperback or hardcover book (must at least 7 inches in height and 350+ pages) or use one provided by the library. No prior experience needed!
